SHAH ALAM – Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, PNSB Construction Sdn Bhd (PCSB), today officially entered into a consortium agreement with Titijaya Land Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, NPO Builders Sdn Bhd (NPO Builders). The strategic collaboration, operating under the name “Consortium of PNSB Construction-NPO”, aims to undertake the development of affordable housing with a gross development value (GDV) of RM343 million under the Rumah Idaman programme. 

The consortium combines PCSB’s strategic capabilities at the state level with NPO Builders’ expertise in property development. Its primary focus is to deliver high-quality affordable homes, supporting the Selangor State Government’s ongoing efforts and aspirations to expand homeownership opportunities among the people.

The development will be undertaken on a strategic 12.997-acre land parcel (part of Lot 85722) and will comprise 1,202 residential units, as follows:

• Rumah Idaman Category 1 (RM250,000): 240 units (1,000 sq ft)

• Rumah Idaman Category 2 (RM295,000): 962 units (1,080 sq ft)

Under the consortium agreement, PCSB will serve as the principal delivery partner, responsible for facilitating strategic planning and managing matters related to approvals from local authorities and the Selangor State Government. This role is essential in ensuring that all policies and aspirations of the Selangor State Government concerning affordable housing are fully adhered to by the consortium.

Meanwhile, NPO Builders will lead the project management function, overseeing the construction phase, managing technical expertise, manpower, machinery and equipment, and ensuring that the project is completed according to the stipulated schedule.

Commenting on the agreement, YM Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar Raja Salim, Chief Executive Officer of PNSB, said:

YBhg. Datuk Lim Poh Yit, Group Managing Director of Titijaya Land Berhad, added:

With NPO Builders’ extensive experience in project management, we are confident that this Rumah Idaman development will further strengthen access to homeownership in Selangor.”

The consortium agreement signing ceremony was attended by senior management representatives from both PNSB and Titijaya Land Berhad.
